    You’ve gave me access to a folder that only has the theme archives. I need access to the “themes” folder located in your WP install folder > wp-content so I can edit the theme or child theme’s files.

    Hey Enrico,

    There is something weird happening on your server. Are you sure you gave me access to the right location of the theme. Because I have made some tests and in the theme’s folder or child theme’s folder there are totally different files when I login via FTP.

    For example:

    In the ftp child theme there are:

    “framework”
    “text.php”
    “functions.php”
    “category-73.php”
    “header.php”
    “professors.php”
    “screenshot.png”

    If you go to “Aspetto > Editor” and select the child theme there are totally different files:

    “category-73.php”
    “functions.php”
    “post-meta.php”
    “professors.php”
    “the-meta-boxes.php”

    I suspect this is the problem why the changes to the “page-top.php” file didn’t work.

    Can you please check it out and see what’s happening.

    Hey Chris

    I noticed you are testing the modifications. As for what you noticed, I was surprised too! Actually, going to the backend editor, I noticed it doesn’t even allow you to select the child theme but only “my university” theme. I tried to work on the database since I moved this website from another hosting, but nothing changed. Weird indeed. Now I’m testing further to see what’s going on…….

    Hello Chris,

    I solved the problem :-)! Now even your correction seems to work, but, since you worked on it and placed a “TEST” text, I ask you to please take a further look and see if everything is ok.

    Moreover:

    1) I never updated the visual composer since I read there was a code “issue” that would have been released with the next theme update; was it already done? Shall I install a newer version of “My university”?

    2) In the homepage, where all news are shown, the pictures of the various articles look cut. On each event, following your instructions and using the dimensions you suggested to me, the featured images look fine. Is there something I can do to fix this also?

    Good to hear you’ve figured it out.

    1. I will release an update very soon and you’ll receive an email. It will come with revslider and vc. latest updates. The problem was only affecting the tabs and simply reversing the order of the attributes would have fixed it but it will be fixed in the update.

    2. Try to use “Ajax Thumbnail Rebuild” plugin. It will crop all of your images to the sizes that are set in the theme.

    Hello Chris,

    it’s me again. I’m really sorry to bother again but I’m afraid that the plugin you suggested made something bad to the theme :-(. Somehow the site is no longer responsive or, better said, if you resize the browser, the slideshow in the homepage overlays the menu and the same happens in the other pages. How can I revert this?

    Are you sure the problem is not from your side? I’ve just checked the site and it works fine on my side. No problems whatsoever.

    The plugin doesn’t do anything else than cropping the images to the sizes set by the theme.

    I don’t think it is from my side even if I can’t be certain. Here a picture of how it looks using explorer, for exaple, but the same happens with Chrome and Firefox when you resize the browser……

    Any suggestion?

    The problem is from having too many items on the top bar. For example if you’ll deactivate an icon you’ll see it will fix your problem. Or maybe shorten this text: “Chiama la segreteria:”

    Hello Chris,

    I’m in need of your help again. Today, after updating the plugins of my WordPress, I got the message saying that WpBakery Visual Composer can not be updated but most of all, the theme “crashed” and the menu is no longer how it was before.     Hello again Chris,

    I just realized the problem appears when the browser is not on full page mode, so it must be some css making the site no longer responsive when seen in a mid-width mode where the menu disappears(I assume it would be “crashing” on devices like tablets). I’d appreciate some help. Thanks again…..
