    I found the problem. I am using the Succuri plugin that gives you an option to “harden” your wp-content directory, which puts a .htaccess file in the wp-content folder with this text inside:

    <Files *.php>
    deny from all
    </Files>

    When I removed this hardening it started working again. Sorry to waste your time.

    I have tried adjusting the permalink settings and it doesn’t help the issue. Also, I have confirmed that permissions are the same for directories and files on all my other sites as they are on this site… any other ideas? Do you think I should try downloading another copy of the plugin and reinstalling it? If so, can you provide me with a download link?

    I figured as much. so is there anyone here willing to give some direction on how to accomplish this? I bought the theme, it’s a great theme, but I just need these couple of tweaks that I am posting about. I was hoping the support would give me some direction.

    Hey, Chris. I know how to do that, then the problem is they don’t show up they way I want them to on the page that shows all the trainers. I have already organized that page by using the post date, but on the home page I want to only show ones from a specific filter.

    So the SD Trainer shortcode doesn’t have the ability to accept any parameters? Can I at least get some direction on where I might dig in to the code in order to make this happen?
