It didn’t work for me.

I understand you have your own reasons for continuing to look into it but, just so you know, I have moved on using another menu and it isn’t an issue for me.

Linux-only household here! However, I observe the problem does not exist for the menu style at http://helpinghands1.skat.tf/ so I think I’ll just switch to that style. The problem I’m avoiding may be something that no actual users ever encounter but I like the helpinghands1 demo style and it will help avoid any possible support problems (for me) from the client side.

I’ve had the same problem with other mobile menus (and I’ve avoided Max Mega Menu on projects of my own for this reason) so it must be something to do with a common upstream library. My go-to is Hero Menu as it stands up to all of the weird edge cases I’ve thrown at it.

Right, it works fine on all those devices. It is only on a desktop/laptop that the collapsed menu toggle doesn’t work in Chrome when clicked. It may not be common for desktop/laptop users to have their windows at the appropriate size for the mobile/collapsed menu to display but it is not entirely out of the question.

I can’t recreate the problem on the Max Mega Menu demo site, as everything works fine there.

There’s no entry for “Home Variation” in my documentation.

The “Really Simple Twitter Feed Widget” is working fine so I’m cool with just using that instead. But if you want to satisfy your curiosity about the error, I’ll hook you up with login info.
