Thanks, but does this change the posts for everywhere the shortcode is implemented? We would like to show the 4 latest events on the homepage and 8 of the events on another page. But with the same shortcode, is that possible somehow?

This seemed to work thanks! How do we make the same changes on our live site? What child files need to be edited with what code?

Also I have another question: On this page: http://respectthemountains.wptestsite.nl/envirotrek/ you can see the 4 upcoming events. These are displayed through a modified version of the sd_latest_blog shortcake supplied by your theme. Where can we change the amount of posts/events that show? The default setting is 4, but we would like to show 8 in stead.

1. Thanks for the response. Sadly it doesn’t work on the English site. I hit the English flag, rescanned even and translated the string again but it just doesn’t change on the front-end of the site.

Changing the whole site language to Dutch seems a bit drastic to me. Codestyling does give a message that says:

Loading Issue: Author is using load_textdomain instead of load_plugin_textdomain function.

Maybe that might give issues? How do we solve this?

2. We did alter the core files already before so changing them again for a bit is ok. It just seems weird that the line is on 2 different places when logged out/logged in. What would be the code to solve this and where should we apply this?

When using standard Facebook and twitter sharing buttons, a pop-up is generated as seen in the screenshot I send you. But when I click on the share this buttons from your theme, the new screens are opened in a new tab.
